Our bales are moving from 4 to 3 wires
In response to market demands, we plan to switch from four bale wires to three on our paper pulp bales.
We are always looking to improve our offering, sometimes through big investments, but often via incremental smaller steps, and this is the latest example. Switching to three wires has advantages in terms of resource efficiency and waste reduction.
A few years ago, we changed from three to four wires as part of our TakeCare program, with the goal of achieving the most attractive bales on the market. Now that we have reached that target, we trust that we can maintain the same quality of bales with three wires and offer a more sustainable product.
Please note that this change does not affect FiberSafe bales, where the current configuration will be maintained. The change in our production for wired bales will take effect in three months’ time.
