Our pulp is inherently sustainable, renewable and recyclable.
But it takes a very human trait to make it all happen. It’s called pride
— and it’s shared by 53,128 members and 3,065 employees.
Usually, I work as a maintenance mechanic. But for the moment I manage our maintenance system, keeping it up to date and making sure that we always have the necessary equipment and spare parts available. Our production needs to always run smoothly. My working day usually starts with checking the status of our ongoing maintenance projects and other assignments. Then I get down to the workshop and the factory to talk to my colleagues. Usually, this is where I pick up issues that need solving, and where I learn the most about how our operation works.
"As an individual, I’m organized and quite curious."
As an individual, I’m organized and quite curious. I like to know how different things work. I’ve been interested in machinery and engineering ever since I was in school, and I’m actually trained in sea engineering. But then I had kids and figured that working on land would probably be more convenient. And just like a ship, the Södra factory is a place where everything and everyone must work together to move forward.
