Ask and we’ll answer!

Rexcell, the tissue company that makes the paper for the Duni tableware brand, recently spent two days at Södra Cell Mönsterås, conducting its own audit of Södra.

Production manager, Karin Dernegård, explains this is a growing trend among customers and their customers. “This was a very productive few days,” she says. “It’s not just about the fibre. Rexcell was interested in everything from working conditions for our workforce to our safety record and the chemicals we use. Our customers face increasingly demanding questions from their own customers and we need to be as open and transparent as possible to make their lives easier. Since we also place a high value on corporate social responsibility, we found our strategies had a lot in common.”

Maria Staxhammar, Sales Director in Sweden: “This was my first audit since starting as Södra two years ago and I really appreciated these two days with the customer representatives and colleagues. These meetings are very important to really strengthen our relationship and learn about a wide range of each other’s competences.”

If you are interested in visiting Södra, do let your local representative know.
