At Södra we have recently invested close to 700 MEUR in pulp capacity and quality. We are also investing heavily in new IT-systems; our ambition is to have all facilities fully integrated by the end of this year.

Meanwhile we see fellow producers in the business doing likewise; big investments in hardware and software. Huge production facilities are being built all around the world.

Modern production facilities and highly developed IT-systems are all prerequisites for us to meet our customers’ demands. But even the most modern plants or systems cannot replace personal contacts in our business.

Long term commitment, relationships and trust between people, built up over decades, are very hard to replace with infrastructure. At Södra Cell we take pride in creating, nourishing and maintaining our customer relations; we know they serve us well in good and bad times. And our customers know they can rely on Södra -today and tomorrow.
