Our first customer seminar in Milan is unlikely to be the last

Milano pulp week 14 maj 2025

Earlier this month, we hosted our first Customer Event during Milan Pulp Week. Some 20 customers attended from both purchasing and technical departments, to discuss everything from Strength through Cooperation to Transparent Sustainability, Focus on Fibre, and Spira, our innovative agro-based pulp. Catrin Gustavsson, Södra Cell’s President, talked about what it means to be a competitive pulp supplier.

Annica Larsson Ahlstedt, Head of Product Quality: “We tried to balance the presentations to be informative without being either too technical or too general and customer feedback indicates we did that. We explained our Science-Based Targets and discussed ways to reduce our mutual carbon footprint, including Conscious Delivery, as well as looking at the investments being made in our pulp mills and our product portfolio. It was great to have both purchasing managers and technicians with us, because we firmly believe that working across departments and companies is needed to make a difference for the future. Together we’re stronger.”

Hannah Stenberg, Customer Experience Manager: “The presentations were just one part of the event: Promoting in-depth discussion was another, which is why we chose to send all our Technical Product Managers, as well as our Sustainability Managers, Climate Impact Engineer and Södra Cell’s President to the event. Everyone had the opportunity to ask our team questions in a relaxed atmosphere, and we hope the event has sparked many new conversations which will open the door to fruitful collaboration.”
