Flying the Södra flag in China
Johannes Bogren, EVP Södra Bioproducts, attended the CCF Cellulose Fiber (Viscose) Industry Forum in Hangzhou, China earlier this month.
He joined a panel as part of the Challenge the Fabric initiative, talking about the value chain and the obstacles that currently hinder wood-based fibre from major scaling up, before delivering a presentation on how forest resources are highly sought after and can play a pivotal role in replacing fossil-based products in our daily lives.
“This was a great opportunity to strengthen our connections in Asia, have an ear to the ground on the Asian market, and to communicate our strategy, which is to maximise the potential of every tree, ensuring we extract the most value we can from every log that enters our mills,” Bogren said.
