“I’m never quite sure what my day will be like when I get to work. My role as a process technician is to monitor and adjust the production process so that we can avoid major disruptions and maintain the highest possible quality. An important part of my job is to handle automated control systems from behind the screen. But a lot of issues require a more hands-on approach, so I’m also on site in production much of the time. There are few problems that I can solve single-handedly, so good teamwork is vital. We are a tight-knit team, and my colleagues mean a lot to me.

“On a personal level, I’m quite good at being focused and not getting too stressed, even when there are lots of things happening at once. This job can be very intense and complex, it’s important to keep improving your skills along the way. There is always more to learn, and I enjoy that.

“I’m really happy working at Södra and the role as a process technician suits me perfectly. I have a lot of freedom to come up with solutions and improvements, which is inspiring. And should I want to try something different in the future, there are many options within the Södra organization.”
