Colleagues' stories – meet Simon, the inspector

Meet Simon, inspector in Södra, responsible for 8000 hectares of forest and around 250 landowners. ”The best part of my job is definitely the freedom, and getting to meet people who like the forest as much as I do.”

Tasks:

As an inspector at Södra, you work directly with our members as a personal forestry advisor. 

You are also involved in ongoing efforts to develop and improve our operations while keeping a constant focus on Södra’s sustainability and business goals.

Education requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in forestry or equivalent experience 

There are about 170 inspectors within Södra.
