Colleagues’ stories – meet engineer Kasiraporn
Meet Kasiraporn Mahanil, who arrived in Sweden ten years ago and now works as a maintenance engineer at our pulp mill in Mörrum. She is involved in securing the production of our paper pulp and dissolving pulp. “The best part of this job, apart from my colleagues, is the opportunity to develop,” she said.

At Södra, there are many different positions for which an engineering qualification is a strong foundation. These include maintenance engineer, project manager, environmental engineer, production engineer, as well as a number of management positions for which it is an advantage to have an engineering background in some area. Common engineering specialisations are in chemical technology, biotechnology or, like Kasiraporn, in mechanical engineering.
