About the project

Orrholmen preschool in Karlstad was finished in 2023. For the project, Södra delivered heat-treated pine cladding with a grey Signati treatment for the facade. The result is a natural and welcoming appearance that blends seamlessly with the surrounding environment.

For schools and preschools, material choices are important – both from a sustainability and a user experience perspective. Wood adds warmth, character and a natural aesthetic, helping to create comfortable and inspiring environments for both children and adults. Facade, interior cladding, and special requests
