Peaceful atmosphere with CLT from Södra

A new mortuary has been built in the Bollebygd parish, with a structural frame made of cross-laminated timber (CLT) from Södra. The building was constructed by RO-gruppen, which has completed several projects using CLT from Södra.

About the project

Inside, the CLT has been left exposed, creating a calm and harmonious atmosphere and contributing to a peaceful setting in the mortuary’s reception room.

During installation, weather protection was used on site to ensure that the timber structure remained free from moisture. The new mortuary was completed in 2024.
