Residential buildings with CLT frame

In the centre of Broby, in the municipality of Östra Göinge, Göingehem has completed two new three-storey residential buildings comprising a total of 33 modern apartments. The project has been characterised by ambitious sustainability goals, with cross-laminated timber (CLT) from Södra playing a key role in the solution.

About the project

To meet the requirements for environmental certification, several conscious choices were made throughout the project.

A central part of the project's sustainability efforts was the decision to use a structural frame made of cross-laminated timber (CLT) from Södra. By replacing traditional building materials with CLT, the climate impact of the construction was reduced. The buildings have also been equipped with rooftop solar panels and EV charging facilities, helping to lower their environmental footprint over time.

Our offer

Build smart. Make less impact.

We offer processed elements in cross-laminated timber (CLT) for structural construction. Building with CLT results in lower climate impact compared to fossil-based construction materials, as it consists of a renewable resource and stores carbon dioxide.
