Notes from the season
The first half of the year has been all about moving ideas into action - together with partners across the value chain.
We’ve continued to grow the OnceMore® Together Hub, welcoming Positive Materials, Karacasu Tekstil, and Linz Textil as new textile partners. Expanding the network means bringing more hands, minds, and capabilities into the same direction.
Collaboration has also deepened with Avavav, together with New Focus Textiles, turning ideas into actual garments. The first styles are now available on Avavav’s e-store and were showcased at Future Fabrics Expo - demonstrating what can happen when design, material, and production come together early. More styles are set to reach stores this autumn.
That same spirit carried into the exhibition floor. At Future Fabrics Expo, OnceMore® garments were presented as proof points of what’s possible when the full value chain is involved - from fiber to finished piece. We also showcased two styles from H&M’s collaboration with Stella McCartney, made with OnceMore® viscose from Bailu.
Stepping beyond traditional meeting formats, we partnered with TreeToTextiles and Textile Exchange on a joint field trip, bringing partners together to exchange perspectives, learn from one another, and build shared understanding.
New collections have reached consumers too. Pinewood launched its first garments made with OnceMore®, now available both online and in stores - marking our first step into the outdoor category.
Throughout the season, we’ve connected with the industry in person at Première Vision and Future Fabrics Expo - strengthening relationships with both longstanding partners and new ones joining our journey.
Behind the scenes, important groundwork continues. We’ve started our collaboration with TextileGenesis, taking further steps to improve traceability across the value chain using their platform.
And finally, continued progress in development: another successful lyocell trial together with Lenzing, reinforcing the potential for future applications.
From partnerships to product, from trials to tangible outcomes - this first half of the year shows what can happen when the right players come together.
