Another step up for Värö

As part of our focus on incremental steps to continue optimising quality and consistency, Södra Cell Värö is installing a new advanced process control (APC) system from ABB for its bleaching process, including an ABB Ability System 800x as well as a distributed control system (DCS). Our mill in Mönsterås already uses the same system, where digester and bleaching controls have been optimized, resulting in improved process stability and more efficient use of resources. Delivery is scheduled for the spring/summer of 2024.
