Green electricity

Industry

The forest is a renewable resource that benefits the climate – both as it grows and when replacing fossil-based products. In Södra’s industrial processes, forest raw material is refined into products, while surplus energy is harnessed as green electricity for society. Green electricity from Södra is stable, renewable and future-proof. It’s part of a larger system where every wood fibre is used optimally, and innovation drives the shift towards fossil-free solutions.
