Which treatments do you recommend?
– There are many different treatments and possibilities to combine them to achieve the desired result. We offer, among other things, our Signati® colouring, which provides longer maintenance intervals and improved colour with a weather-resistant surface. A Decori® heat treatment results in a dimensionally stable and natural product that withstands challenging weather conditions. We also offer fire protection treatment, which enables creativity in construction projects by reducing fire risk and protecting the wood.

What is important to consider when installing wood cladding?
– Wood must be handled carefully to avoid damage, especially heat-treated wood. When installing untreated or coloured façades, only stainless steel screws and nails should be used to avoid rust stains. For interior cladding, we recommend acclimatising the wood before installation to minimise dimensional changes.

– Depending on the wood species and treatments you choose for your exterior or interior cladding, different types of maintenance will be required. In general, we always recommend regular inspection and cleaning or re-treatment where needed. With careful maintenance, you can extend the lifespan and preserve the appearance of your wood cladding.
