About the project
BraLokaler units are insulated and have an internal ridge height of approximately 6.6 metres, providing extensive possibilities for customizing the space as desired. The premises benefit from a harmonious and functional environment where the CLT walls are visible, making the quality of the timber a key aspect.
“Södra is a solutions-oriented supplier, and we share the goal of using CLT that is absolute top tier in terms of quality. Furthermore, Södra’s factory in Värö is strategically located. This means we have short transport distances to the construction site, which is a major plus for the environment,” says Emil Björling, project manager at BraLokaler.
Tage & Söner have handled the assembly and are a regular partner for both Södra and BraLokaler.
“Deliveries from Södra have been on time and correctly packaged in the required assembly order. We have worked together to meet the client’s high standards for quality, and overall, we are very satisfied with Södra as a supplier,” says Tore Werdelin, project director at Tage & Söner.
Södra has also supplied CLT for BraLokaler's industrial townhouse projects in Lerum, just outside Gothenburg. In addition to apartment buildings and public structures, CLT is also highly skilled in constructing industrial buildings, warehouses and machinery halls.
“In this type of industrial project, the CLT is used optimally by the specification of large panels, which enables a highly efficient assembly process. Furthermore, you gain load-bearing capacity, fire protection and surface finish without needing to add additional materials,” says Simon Kastari, project manager at Södra Building Systems.
