Instructions for using heat logs

How to use heat logs

Start by placing a couple of larger firewood logs at the bottom of your stove. Then cross-lay a few smaller logs on top, forming a square.

Place kindling at the top of the fire, underneath the smaller logs. Light the fire and leave the stove door slightly open—under supervision—until the top logs have caught fire. Then add heat logs onto the glowing embers.

It’s important to note that Södra’s heat logs contain a high amount of energy, so begin with one log and add more as needed. One heat log lasts for approximately one hour.
