From Internship to a Permanent Role - Wilma’s Story

My aunt saw the ad and told me it would be perfect for me. I started reading about Tekniksprånget, and since I had only heard good things about the workplace, I decided to apply. I went through interviews and tests just like a regular recruitment process, and that’s how I became one of three Tekniksprång participants in Mörrum.

Wilma began her internship in February, working in the sustainability and development departments.
Already in the first week, I thought: wow, what a company! It felt like family—everyone greeted me, and if I asked a question, people stopped what they were doing to help me. I got a great first impression and immediately knew I wanted to stay. So, I applied for summer jobs and even permanent positions.
During her internship, Wilma also applied for a vocational training program for process operators in Olofström, as she had finally discovered what she wanted to do. Her tasks during the internship were varied, which she appreciated.
She later got a summer job in external cleaning, working on maintenance tasks in operations.
Wilma’s efforts during her internship and summer job paid off. At the end of July, she received the news that she had been offered the permanent position she applied for in the spring. From August 14, she works as a process technician in the pulp block. During her first year, she will follow a training plan to learn the department’s operations, supported by a mentor, training coordinator, and shift managers.
