The legal basis for our camera surveillance of production processes is that it is essential to prevent or detect disruptions. By monitoring operations, Södra can quickly identify and address any problems that could negatively affect production or cause damage to property or individuals.
Recorded material is stored for a maximum of 72 hours. In the event of operational disruptions, accidents, or similar incidents, recordings may be retained for a longer period if justified.
Camera surveillance to prevent or detect accidents and serious incidents
The legal basis for this surveillance is that it enables Södra to quickly identify and correct any issues that may lead to accidents, injuries, or other serious incidents.
Recorded material is stored for a maximum of 72 hours. A longer retention period may apply if the material is needed as part of an investigation into a serious accident.
Camera surveillance to prevent, detect, or investigate crime
The legal basis for this type of camera surveillance is that it allows Södra to identify and respond to incidents that may result in damage to property or individuals.
Recorded material is stored for a maximum of 7 days. Longer storage may occur if the material is part of a police or legal investigation.
Sharing of recorded material
Södra may share recorded material with the police or other authorities if it concerns the investigation of an accident or crime, or if disclosure is otherwise required by law or an official decision.
