We are updating our specification
We have reached a new milestone in our work to expand the possibilities for textile-to-textile recycling.
For the first time, we can bring recycled viscose back into the process - not only cotton. This expands how OnceMore® material can be used and opens up new possibilities across the value chain.
"This is an important step forward. It shows that recycled viscose can be incorporated into the OnceMore® process alongside recycled cotton. In doing so, we are taking another important step towards closing the loop for MMCF-based textiles," says Madeleine Bernhard, Business Development Manager at OnceMore®.
As a result of this progress, we are now updating our specification. This creates a clearer and stronger foundation for how we work together with customers and partners going forward.
For brands, producers and fibre partners, this means:
- New opportunities to incorporate recycled viscose into future material solutions, while contributing to closing the loop
- A stronger basis for product development
- Greater clarity in how OnceMore® material can be specified and used
- Continued confidence that quality requirements can be maintained in the final fibre
This milestone represents an important next step in enabling future fibre-to-fibre solutions for MMCF-based textiles and strengthening collaboration across the value chain.

Our Recycling Process
The textile waste we use is traceable, secured over several years, and consistent - ensuring that we have a reliable product in the long term. Today, we only use RCS-certified post-consumer textile waste.
