Bark

Biomaterials

Our bark is collected from both our sawmills and pulp mills. As it is produced from fresh timber sourced from our family forestry, it maintains a consistent moisture content, typically between 55–60%. Södra also offers dried bark from our pulp mills in Värö and Mönsterås, with a moisture content of around 45%. This makes our bark highly suitable for use as, for example, a covering material.
