Södra Wood Mönsterås

Södra Wood Mönsterås is one of the largest sawmills in southern Sweden. The sawmill was inaugurated on October 27, 1999, and is part of the Mönsterås industrial complex, together with the pulp mill. The facility is designed for short processing times, with sawing speeds of up to 150 meters per minute. It produces strength-graded structural timber, studs, CLS timber for pressure treatment, and boards for battens, tongue and groove, and packaging.
