Södra Bioproducts
Södra Bioproducts is responsible for the sale and marketing of the carbon, chemical and energy products that Södra produces at its industrial facilities or directly from family forestry. The product offer consists of biofuels, biomaterials, dissolving pulp, electricity, district heating and biochemicals. These products contribute to responsible use of our raw material and are an important part of the green transition.
Södra Building Systems
Södra Building Systems' operations include the production of cross-laminated timber (CLT) in Värö. Sales to the market also include complementary structural materials, such as glulam as well as wood facades and interior cladding, creating a comprehensive building offer.
Södra Cell
Södra Cell is a world-leading producer of market pulp with its pulp mills in Värö, Mörrum and Mönsterås. The largest part of production is paper pulp, while textile pulp is produced at the Mörrum mill. Södra Cell is also a significant producer of biofuels, green electricity, district heating and raw material for biofuels.
Södra Skog - Forestry & members
Södra Skog offers forestry services and advice to Södra's members. The business area buys forest raw material from the members and delivers it to Södra's industrial facilities. Södra Skog also conducts external trade in timber. On behalf of members, they also manage member forests, from planting and silviculture to final harvesting. The business area includes two nurseries, a transport company, and a port. The operations are locally organized in 24 member-teams and 36 forest management areas.
Södra Wood
Södra Wood's operations encompass sawn wood products. We produce sawn and planed building products such as decking, exterior paneling and battens at our own sawmills and planing units. Södra Wood also manufactures pellets and sawdust.
