All tools used by our units – such as bandsaw blades, circular saw blades, and chipping knives – are sharpened and maintained at Södra Wood in Gislaved. We also sharpen steel for external customers, primarily within the recycling industry
With modern automation and new technology, approximately 32,000 circular saw blades, 50,000 knives, and 2,000 bandsaw blades are resharpened annually. In 2022, a new facility was acquired in Gislaved, offering up to 4,000 m² of production space.
