Facilities

Södra's operations are extensive and are located at several different facilities, mainly in southern Sweden. Raw materials from family forests are processed into products with a low climate impact at, among others, three pulp mills, seven sawmills and a factory for cross-laminated timber (CLT). We also have factories for the production of biomethanol and pellets, as well as a planing and impregnation plant. Seedlings are cultivated for future forests at two nurseries, and several forestry offices create conditions for close cooperation with the members. Welcome to Södra!

Mörrum pulp mill

Production of paper and dissolving pulp, as well as OnceMore®.

Kinda

Södra Wood in Kinda mainly produces construction wood, but also strength-graded studs, tongue and groove, packaging wood, and exterior paneling.

Långasjö

Södra Wood in Långasjö produces construction wood, but also pellets from sawdust at two facilities.

Orrefors

Södra Wood Orrefors is an small log sawmill that produces construction wood, studs, CLS, cladding material, and decking.

Unnefors

Södra Wood Unnefors produces joinery wood, finger-jointed elements, decking, and packaging wood.

Vaggeryd

Södra Wood in Vaggeryd is one of Södra's impregnation facilities in Sweden.

Hamina

Södra Wood in Hamina mainly produces construction wood with longer average lengths.

Åstorp

Södra Wood in Åstorp is one of Södra's impregnation facilities in Sweden.

Gislaved

Södra Wood in Gislaved ensures that our machines and tools are properly maintained and serviced.
