Agricultural residues - new raw material in the pulp industry

We’re on a mission t o increase circularity. We’re currently developing an innovative pulp where we combine agricultural residues with traditional forest raw materials. By integrating by-products from agriculture, we create a more resource-efficient and sustainable pulp with improved qualities - perfect for a range of tissue products such as toilet paper, napkins, and wipes.

Sustainable innovation for a circular economy

We strive to optimise our use of resources and maximise the use of the forest as a renewable raw material. We’ve been researching how to combine agricultural residues with woodpulp to create an innovative pulp for some time. We have a long history of sustainable innovations in the pulp industry and this is another step towards improved circularity.

Smart solution that uses nature's resources

We are developing pulp for the future consisting of both woodpulp and agricultural residues for tissue applications, everyday products such as toilet and paper towels, napkins, wet wipes, and more. By developing pulps with a larger share of recycled and alternative fibres, we take an important step towards a more circular and sustainable future.
