Södra shortlisted for two more awards

Both TTJ and BMJ are prominent trade publications read by over 30,000 people across the UK every month.

Södra’s ‘Environmental Achievement’ entry referenced its 100 per cent fossil-free nurseries, commitment to increased forest growth, new sustainable products, renewable electricity generation, and 2020 target for completely fossil-free production. All of which is underpinned by Södra’s passionate promotion of sustainable development at all stages of its timber production, from seed to customer.

The ‘Excellence in Marketing’ entry explored Södra’s willingness to tell a compelling story about timber’s potential to transform the UK’s housebuilding industry while meeting all-important carbon emissions targets. In doing so, Södra’s timber production process was brought to life, its commitment to the UK market well-ingrained and the Södra brand established in the UK as the benchmark for quality timber supply in the UK.
