Producers' stocks in September

In September, global producers’ stocks fell by one day of supply, down to 36 days of supply. Inventories of softwood kraft pulp fell by four days, down to 29 days, while hardwood increased by 2 days to 42 days of supply. Stocks of softwood pulp is now down to very low levels. Global shipments improved by roughly 2% from September last year. The average shipment-to-capacity ratio reached 96% for softwood and 98% for hardwood.
