Our Södra Gold pulp is made from either birch or eucalyptus, which have very short fibres (0.9 mm for birch, 0.75 mm for eucalyptus) that add softness to all types of paper products. Birch pulp is easy to beat and creates a soft, tight paper with a smooth surface and high tensile strength. Eucalyptus pulp requires somewhat more beating and produces a paper with a high level of brightness and exceptionally good formation.
