Södra Red pulp provides substantial bulk to all types of paper and imparts stiffness to paperboard, good brightness properties in printing paper and absorption properties in tissue. The ideal raw material for Södra Red is spruce, which is selected for its long fibres and is processed chemi-thermomechanically. It produces a high-yield pulp that is normally ready to use without any further beating. Södra Red can be tailor-made to customer requirements and specifications in terms of properties and bleaching.
