Markets and products

Södra delivers high-quality products chiefly for construction use. The biggest markets are Sweden, the UK, the Netherlands and Denmark. Sales to other parts of Europe, Japan, the USA and the Middle East are also extensive.     The Södra production is largely based on spruce which has been processed through drying, planing, cutting and strength classification. It can be further customized through packaging, barcode marking, finger jointing and priming. The wood products come in various lengths and sizes.  

The services we offer our customers include high product quality, high delivery security and short lead times. Our best developed service concept is for the Swedish construction industry. Our retail customers are offered a complete range of construction timber via fast delivery from three distribution centres. Simplified ordering may be done via Butikernas Butik, our web ordering system. Similar services are also offered in the Netherlands and Denmark.  

Södra also produces pine wood for moulding, furniture, window and door manufacturers in Scandinavia and for exporting countries. Pine is also planed and impregnated for the Scandinavian construction material trade and the export markets.
