Södra Timber has become a co-owner of SMARTT Timber Sales in the Netherlands. The company will be marketing Södra Timber's wood products in the Netherlands from 1 July 2009.
The Dutch market is a priority market for Södra Timber.
“We want to have a local presence in all our main markets so that we can develop business relationships with our customers. The change will therefore be conducted in close collaboration with Södra Timber's existing customers,” says Peter Nilsson, President of Södra Timber.
SMARTT Timber Sales is a newly founded company whose employees have many years' experience and an intimate knowledge of the Dutch market.
