Södra is increasing its long-fibre and short-fibre pulp prices, reflecting strong market conditions.
The price of bleached softwood pulp will rise by USD 30 to USD 760 per tonne. Bleached hardwood pulp is being raised by USD 50 to USD 650 per tonne. The new prices are effective from 1 October.
“Our inventories are low and international inventory statistics reflect a similar situation for the global pulp market as a whole. Meanwhile, Asian demand continues to be strong,” said Ulf Edman, president of Södra Cell International.
