Everyone benefits from fossil fuels being replaced by biofuel – our future climate is an issue that requires the cooperation of one and all. Using biofuel is a way of helping share this responsibility.

Biofuel has many environmental benefits. It is part of the natural ecocycle and unlike fossil fuels is a renewable resource. It binds carbon dioxide from the air. And it also has economic advantages: it is efficient, can be found in Sweden, and creates employment.

Södra Skogsenergi has sold fuel products from the forest for 25 years. Deliveries have steadily increased, but more use can be made of the forest. Södra Skogsenergi supplies mainly to large customers, thermal power stations, combined power and heating plants, as well as industry and pellet factories. Private individuals can now use pellets to heat their homes.
