Trainee programme contents

The aim of the trainee programme is to contribute to ensuring the recruitment of competent young academics within the Södra Group and prepare for the selection of future leaders. The programme objectives are to give the trainee good knowledge of the various branches of the Group, an understanding of a variety of conditions and cultural differences as well as offering personal development. 

You obtain permanent employment from the very beginning and will be formally stationed at one of our work places. During the year you will gain all-round in-service training in different work places within the Group. This training is interwoven with leadership, communication, economics and market education.

Joint activities:
During five days in February you will take part in an introduction including overarching programme and group information. After this you participate every five weeks throughout the training period in a consecutive personal development programme. It comprises self-knowledge, cooperation, communication and leadership development as well as brief courses in certain areas like laws and contracts, economics and the market. 

Local activities:
Local introduction with in-service training in your own unit. 
Independent tasks in the form of a project to be conducted individually or in groups. 

Interwoven in-service training:
Practical work experience in various units of the Group. 
Study tours and/or short periods of practical training in Norway and other countries.
