Södra Timber is the group’s producer and supplier of wood products for, above all, construction and housing related use. We address customers who require high quality, with regard to both products and supply service. The home market is our most important market but we also export our wood products to Japan, the USA, the Middle East and most European countries.

About 70 percent of production relates to construction products for high-quality purposes. The wood products are manufactured in a number of lengths and dimensions. An important feature they all have in common is that they are of a quality that is adapted to the customer’s wishes. The sawn and planed products can also be stress graded, finger jointed and have different types of quality licences.

In addition to high product quality, we also offer a high level of reliability of supply and short lead times. Over the last few years, we have developed custom-made logistics and IT solutions.

New advanced products and logistics solutions are often developed in cooperation with our customers as well as universities and colleges. The raw materials for all wood products from Södra Timber are accredited in accordance with FSC and PEFC.

Södra Timber has a total of 8 sawmills in Southern Sweden and we produced 1.7 million cubic metres of sawn and planed wood products in 2010.
